WeFlex is a registered NDIS provider in capacity building support categories. Depending on your NDIS plan goals, funded support categories and how your plan is managed (agency, plan or self-managed), there are different options available to access WeFlex supports. WeFlex fitness professionals have the relevant industry standard qualification for the service they provide. In addition to this they all complete NDIS worker screening, NDIS worker orientation modules and our WeFlex accredited training that is co-designed by people living with those unique needs.

In addition to core disability inclusion principles training, WeFlex Fitness Professionals have access to upskill and specialise in a range of unique needs such as sensory needs, behaviour support needs, blind/low vision, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, amputee support, seated needs etc. We provide support to every body who is looking to enjoy the benefits of health and fitness.

We are able to work with all ages 7-99 and beyond! Fitness Professionals working with those aged under 18yrs, must also hold a valid Working with Children Check.

A WeFlex fitness professional can help you with health, fitness & wellbeing goals such as:

An outcomes report can be provided to you for your NDIS plan review.

In general, your NDIS plan does not cover gym memberships, however your NDIS plan may be eligible for the cost of support to participate in fitness and wellbeing services.

For Fitness Professionals

No, that’s why WeFlex is here. If you have the desire to learn and to work with an awesome new cohort of clients, we will give you all the training and support you need.

No, we are the registered NDIS provider, so you don’t have to be. If you have not worked in the disability sector before you’ll need to do some online training and apply for a NDIS worker screening through your state service provider and you’ll sit under WeFlex registration. We provide all the information for you and walk you through it step by step. You do not need to do this to before connecting with us, you can do it as part of the onboarding process.

The initial process will be an hour here and there over a couple of weeks and we’ll work in with your schedule.

We take our matching very seriously. We only match a client with a fitness professional that can meet their unique needs. The WeFlex ongoing training program covers many different unique needs to set you up for success before you even have your first session with a client.

You can work with all kinds of clients of all different ages, abilities and unique needs and during the onboarding process we’ll discuss your preferences and suitability

We have lots of clients that are flexible with when they can train. Many are available during the day, so your availability is perfect.

We pay all our Fitness professionals every fortnight for all sessions they have completed in the previous two weeks. We pay directly into your nominated account, or we pay your employer if you are an employee of a gym/club/studio

We book you for one hour of your time, 45 minutes is your face to face session and then up to 15 minutes to complete the session report.

Yes, we provide an easy system for you to access, where we ask that you write a brief report at the end of your session against the client’s goals.  

Yes, you have access to the WeFlex team to ask for any support or guidance pre and post any session you have.

Absolutely! We offer all options to our clients, as what is good for one person, may not be ideal for another. We have fitness professionals working in gyms, in parks, in client homes, at service providers, online and even mobile.
